- No claims will be considered after 30 days from the date of the invoice for the services rendered.
- Within the limits of the law, all claims will be limited to the invoiced amount.
- The translator retains copyright to the translation until the invoice for the translation has been paid in full.
- If the client is not satisfied with the translator’s work, the translator must be given an opportunity to correct the translation before payment terms or rates are changed.
- In my work as a translator and an interpreter, I am guided by the American Translators Association Code of Ethics and Professional Practice.
- As a court interpreter, I adhere to the Code of Professional Responsibility for court interpreters in Nevada.
- As a nationally certified medical interpreter, I follow the National Code of Ethics for Interpreters in Health Care and the National Standards of Practice for Interpreters in Health Care developed by the National Council on Interpreting in Health Care (NCIHC).
